Subud Britain is the national organisation for the spiritual community of Subud in England, Scotland and Wales.
Members of Subud come together twice a week to practise the ‘latihan kejiwaan’ (translated as spiritual training or exercise), a form of worship through surrender to the highest universal power — Almighty God.
The Subud latihan is an experience that starts as an inner vibration, moving the person from within. This vibration is usually expressed in movement which may lead them to walk, dance, cry, laugh, sing, shout or pray. Men and women do their latihan separately to allow full freedom of expression. Subud is open to those of all faiths or no faith and all are welcome to join us.
